If you love old Army music (vocal and brass) then you will love this great site I've found set up by an Australian Salvationist called Ian Barton. Here you can download mp3 files of almost every Salvation Army Regal Zonophone recording ever made. Including excerpts from the unveiling ceremony of the William Booth memorial in Westminster Abbey complete with a very challenging sermon by then General Coutts (1965).
There is everything here both vocal and brass, very old vocal solos, original recordings of William Booth, General Higgins (possibly meetings to celebrate the centenary of Booth's birth).
I counted (using a spreadsheet!) 1,309 tracks in total! I'm not sure how long it would take you to download them all!
This is a treasure trove for anyone looking for the origins of souls saving music – enjoy!
Grace and peace, A
